Customers that qualify for the DWP Lifeline rate, will have their Sewer Service Charge (SSC) reduced and their Solid Resources Fee (SRF) eliminated. The SSC reduction is 31% of the first 18 hcf of a 2-month DWP bill or 31% of the first 9 hcf of a 1-month bill.
Customers must apply by getting a form from the City Clerk titled "Utility User's Tax Exemption/Electric & Water Lifeline Rate Application". Fill in, sign and submit the completed application to the City Clerk at:
