LAUSD Recycling Program

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) District-Wide Expanded Recycling Program

 

The City of Los Angeles provides free recycling services to all LAUSD Elementary campuses and Elementary Charter Campuses within the City of Los Angeles.

Schools Participating in the program receive the following:
  • Free recycling collection service once a week
  • As many 90 gallon blue bins as the school needs
  • Free education presentation and materials for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students

What does not belong in the blue bin
  • No food or liquids

Middle schools, high school and Occupational centers CANNOT participate.
