FUNCTION OF CENTRAL LA RECYCLING AND TRANSFER STATION (CLARTS)

 

CLARTS provides transfer services to City of Los Angeles curbside collection operations. It is also open to commercial waste haulers, independent operators, and the general public.

HOURS OF OPERATION AND RESTRICTIONS

  • Open 4:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday
  • Open 6:00am to 2:30pm Saturday
  • Closed Sunday and on all major holidays  


CURRENT GATE RATES

  • $75.00 per ton for municipal solid waste (minimum one ton charge)
  • $85.00 per ton for hard to handle bulky items or special material handing (minimum one ton charge)

  • $79.00 per ton for municipal solid waste (minimum one ton charge)
  • $89.00 per ton for hard to handle bulky items or special material handling (minimum one ton charge)
       All major credit cards accepted. Rates subject to change.
