Grand Boulevard Tree Wells

DESCRIPTION
The Grand Boulevard Tree Wells project installed seven water filtration systems around Magnolia trees lining Grand Boulevard in the Venice area of Los Angeles. These filtration systems capture polluted urban runoff from 6.8 acres of the surrounding high-density residential and commercial corridor and remove the pollutants before the water flows into Santa Monica Bay.

Proposition O funded $713,039 of this project. Proposition 50 provided $350,000 in additional funding for this project.
